Staff Counselling Service

This service has been developed for our staff to address the sometimes stressful nature and complexity of their roles. The service is provided by a Counselling Psychologist who has extensive experience in this field and is a long-standing member of our Psychology team.

There is no charge to staff (although they attend sessions in their own time) and the counselling approach is based on a brief therapy framework, offering them the chance to offload work related worries, fears, anxieties and frustrations that they might be experiencing.

Staff may need time to talk, for example:

After difficult, challenging incidents.
With regard to asserting their rights within the workplace.
To work through bereavement and loss issues.
To develop better strategies for dealing with stress (e.g. relaxation)
To problem solve or make decisions in relation to their career.

We feel that this service is invaluable to the overall care and support offered to staff working within the company, which undoubtedly has a positive impact on their work with service users.
