About Ballards Ash Farmhouse
Ballards Ash Farmhouse is a spacious and attractive former farmhouse set on the outskirts of Wootton Bassett in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, but with easy access to Swindon and Junction 16 of the M4 motorway. It provides a safe and supportive home for nine young adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities within a rural setting on the outskirts of the town.

The bright and airy accommodation includes nine single bedrooms, all with full en suite facilities – three on the ground floor and six on the first floor - a main lounge, dining room, quiet lounge, sensory room, day services room and main kitchen. Outside is a large garden, separated into relaxation and recreation areas, with a summerhouse and patio areas.

We promote independence, choice and community integration and encourage our service users to develop their personal skills in daily living, social skills, communication, education, decision making and future planning, whilst at the same time preserving and upholding self-determination, privacy and dignity.

We take care to meet individual physical and emotional needs, encouraging development through preferred activities and nurturing positive relationships with staff and peers.

Where is Ballards Ash Farmhouse?

From M4 Junction 16

Proceed along the A3102 (Swindon Road) toward Wootton Bassett.
Go straight over the first roundabout, staying on the A3102, and straight over the next roundabout onto the B4042 (Brinkworth Road).
You will go past a sports ground on the left hand side of the road and a nursery on the right. About ¼ mile past there will be a drive on the right hand side following round a large green.
Ballards Ash Farmhouse is a large house set back from the driveway.
