About Peppard House
Peppard House provides a long-term home for seven individuals with moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs. It is a large, mature, detached house of considerable character, close to Caversham Village , with accommodation stretching over three floors. There are three single bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has en suite facilities, and four bedrooms on the first floor.

Further accommodation includes a large lounge area, dining room, three bathrooms and two sensory rooms.

At the back of the house is the day services and recreation room where service users can enjoy arts & crafts, communication, relaxation and educational activities.

Our aim is to enable individuals to live as fulfilling a life as possible in a secure environment within a community setting.

We promote independence, choice and community integration, and encourage and provide opportunities for personal development in daily living and social skills, communication and education, decision making and future planning. We meet individual physical and emotional needs with sensitivity and nurture a positive range of relationships with staff and peers.

To provide this service we take a holistic, valued lifestyle approach to ensure all needs are met. We provide a supportive and stimulating environment to meet specific needs. Care, support and advice is provided whilst an individual right to privacy and dignity is upheld at all times.

Where is Peppard House?

From Junction 10 of the M4, take the A329(M) into central Reading .
As you drive around the centre of Reading follow signs to Caversham.
Proceed over the bridge into Caversham village and turn left at the traffic lights onto the A4074 towards Oxford .
Peppard House is approximately 1 mile on the left hand side.
