About Parkview
Parkview is a large, detached house providing mid to long-term residential care for seven adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, multiple disabilities and associated complex needs.

There are seven good sized single bedrooms, three of which can be found on the ground floor, a spacious lounge, small quiet room, dining room, two large bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen area.

Our day services building can be found in the grounds, providing areas for sensory stimulation and relaxation, arts & crafts activities and an educational room with computer facilities.

We also have a heated, outdoor pool which is used by many service users during the summer months.

Our Philosophy
Our main aim is to enable our service users to live as fulfilling a life as possible through a value-based approach to meeting individual needs. We provide care, support and advice to enable individuals to develop their daily living skills, independence, community integration and decision making about their own future.

Through individual attention we encourage personal development and self respect by providing high standards of professional care that honours peoples’ privacy, dignity and choice. We take care to meet individual physical and emotional needs, encouraging development through preferred activities and nurturing positive relationships with staff and peers. We provide clinical assessment, rehabilitation and special skills training.

Where is Parkview?

From Junction 12 of the M4, take the turning towards Reading on the A4 ( Bath Road ).
Go over two roundabouts and turn left at the traffic lights just after the Calcot Hotel towards Tilehurst.
At the top of the hill go straight over the first mini roundabout, past the Water Tower on the left and continue through Tilehurst village.
After passing a petrol station on the left there is a crossroads with traffic lights, turn left onto Armour Road and Parkview is immediately on the left.
