Boxgrove House registered for 10 is a large detached home situated within its own spacious grounds in Tilehurst overlooking the Pangbourne Downs, near to all the shops & pubs. Boxgrove House currently provides support to male adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, sensory impairments and associated complex needs.
Seven of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, all of which have en suite facilities, with a further three bedrooms on the first floor with a separate bathroom. There are two further bathrooms on the ground floor, one of which is equipped with a hoist for access to the bath and a wheelchair-accessible shower if needed for residents with additional mobility issues.
Additional accommodation includes a large lounge and two separate living room areas and a spacious dining room. Leading out from the lounge there is large back garden which overlooks the surrounding fields and countryside. There is also a separate adjoining day services building providing areas for relaxation, sensory, computer and creative activities. In addition we have two vehicles that we use for leisure, recreational, educational trips and activities in the community.

We provide clinical assessment & ongoing rehabilitation and ensure we pay close attention to individual physical & emotional needs, offering respect, privacy and dignity, whilst encouraging positive relationships with staff and peers.
We offer when needed support and advice from our in house Psychology and Psychiatry Teams.
Where is Boxgrove House?
From Junction 12 of the M4, take the turning towards Reading on the A4 ( Bath Road ).
Go over two roundabouts and turn left at the traffic lights just after the Calcot Hotel towards Tilehurst.
At the top of the hill go straight over the first mini roundabout, past the Water Tower on the left and turn left at the next mini roundabout onto City Road.
Follow the road round and at the end turn right onto Little Heath Road. Boxgrove House is approximately 500 yards on the left.
