Appletrees registered for 8 is a large, detached country house offering support to adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs. The home is set in beautiful open countryside in the village of Upper Bucklebury and is just 6 miles away from Newbury Town Centre.
The accommodation consists of a large lounge, dining room, central office, kitchen, landing with 3 single bedrooms and a separate bathroom. Upstairs there are 5 further bedrooms and separate bathrooms. The lounge leads onto a wooden veranda into a large garden that is ideal for summer activities and provides a relaxing and safe environment for service users.
Situated within the grounds we have Treetops, a separate, purpose-built day services centre, where sessions for education, art, craft, sensory activities are held. In addition we have two vehicles that are for leisure, recreational, educational trips and activities in the community.

Through individual support we encourage personal development and self respect by providing high standards of professional care that honours peoples’ privacy, dignity and choice. Staff give twenty-four hour care and support in order to provide opportunities to learn and experience enjoyable activities in a homely and secure living environment.

Where is Appletrees?
From Junction 12 of the M4, turn onto the A4 (Bath Road) towards Newbury.
Go straight over the next two roundabouts and keep following the road until you enter the village of Woolhampton.
Turn right onto Woolhampton Hill Road and follow this road until you reach a T-junction.
Turn left, drive approximately half a mile and turn right onto Hatch Lane. Follow this road until you reach the village of Chapel Row.
At the T-junction turn left, then immediately right. Appletrees is 100 yards on the right.
